There are several reasons; Cost, Consistency, Reliability, Time Frame, Supplemental.If you are a client of mine then all you pay for is my time, not a yearly salary for someone that will on average will work 6 hours a day for 60,000 a year then the expence of the equipment ($5,000.00 or more for the required equipment to do the job right) then there is the software which will run about $20,000 so in a year you have spend over $100,000.00 just to have the right to say that you have an "in-house" detailer. If you use me full time then all you will do is end up paying me the $60,000 a year so saving $50,000.00. If my services are not required for a full time spot then all you do is pay for whatever time that was spent on your job. Which after that year you have spent a lot less. I have seen a lot of business go out of business because they end up spending way too much money on the front end and not forward the savings on to their customers.
